Gold Coast Turf Club

This project presented a complex screening job requiring a finished product of -5mm to satisfy the Gold Coast Turf Club’s requirements. Our scope included screening the existing top soil to remove particles greater than 5mm prior to returfing to support an upgrade of the club’s track.

In addition to the strict requirements of the screening particle size, the site experienced rain, rain and more rain as well as the need to work around the horse training schedule. To keep the project moving, screening was conducted on wet material, adding to the challenge.

Our team modified two deck screens to produce a 5mm particle and rescreened oversized wet material to ensure compliance while maximising the potential from the site-won material. We screened all required material within the project’s timeframes despite the wet conditions.
