The Kingaroy Solar Farm project required vegetation for visual screening around the perimeter of the solar farm to support amenity for the local community. Our scope included preparing planting areas, mulching and monitoring establishment.

We ultimately delivered hydromulching across a 4.7ha site in addition to installing 25,000 tube stock plants.

Challenges such as extreme dry conditions during initial establishment were overcome with the use of additional water trucks and temporary irrigation – both possible due to the diversity of our fleet and services.

The site is establishing well, providing a vegetative screen for neighbouring properties.
